Recipe Of The Day : Speghetti Carbonara

Ohmygeeee!!! Speghetti Carbonara is an Italian traditional food that has stole my heart . the most delicious dish I've ever eat. i like how cheesy and creamy carbonara is. Well, obviously because I'm a cheese lover. So anything that come out with cheese is my favorite. As you can see my previous recipe post most of them has connected with cheese.
Okay, back to the topic of Carbonara, the dish was created in the middle of 20th centuries. It is an Italian pasta dish from Rome.


So, here is the amazing Carbonara Recipe ^.^ Hope you enjoy it

INGREDIENTS:

600 g spaghetti
3 tbsp olive oil
3 cloves garlic, chopped
2 small onion, finely chopped
100 g sausage, slice
100 g ham, slice
1 cup fresh milk
1 cup light cream
2 cup Parmesan Cheese
Dash of black paper
Dash of oregano


METHOD:
  1. Cook the spaghetti according to the instructions on the packet. Meanwhile, heat the oil in a pan and fry the onion and garlic until they start to soften, usually about 5 mins.
  2. Add the sausage and ham and fry until the they starts to brown.
  3. Place the light cream in a bowl and beat. Add the milk and Parmesan, beat and season with black pepper.
  4. When the pasta is cooked, drain and add the onions, garlic, sausage and ham. Pour over the carbonara sauce and return to the heat for 1-2 mins, stirring all the time and season with oregano.
  5. Serve your spaghetti carbonara immediately with a green salad and some garlic bread if you fancy it.
